Board Member Election for 2025

The Lafayette Pointe HOA Board of Directors has contracted with and appointed the HOA Election Team, LLC as your certified Inspector of Elections. In that capacity, and in compliance with state law, we will be managing the nomination and election process for this election.

The Board is seeking volunteers to fill three (3) positions on the Board of Directors. As specified in your HOA governing documents, board terms for this election will be 1 to 2 years, and will re-establish staggered board terms as called for in the community's governing documents.

Homeowners may nominate themselves and/or other qualified members of the association by submitting the information below to the HOA Election Team either by email or U.S. Mail prior to the stated deadline.

Candidate Disclosure Form 

By submitting my nomination to the appointed Election Inspector to serve on the Lafayette Pointe Homeowners Association board, I certify that I am a homeowner in the community and If elected, I understand and acknowledge the responsibilities of service as a Director, including: 

1. Fiduciary Duty 

○ Act in the best interests of the Association and its members. 

○ Exercise diligence, care, and prudent judgment when conducting operations. 2. Governance & Meetings 

○ Attend and actively participate in Board meetings and Association events. ○ Collaborate with fellow Board members to establish policies, make decisions, and address the needs of the Association. 

3. Financial Oversight 

○ Review and approve the annual budget, and other financial statements. ○ Monitor the collection of assessments and ensure proper allocation of funds. 4. Compliance 

○ Ensure compliance with the Association’s governing documents, and state laws. ○ Address violations of Association rules, regulations, and policies. 

5. Communication 

○ Serve as a liaison between homeowners and the Board. 

○ Promote harmonious relationships among residents and foster engagement. 6. Maintenance and Repairs 

○ Oversee the maintenance of common areas and ensure timely repairs as needed. ○ Review contracts and manage relationships with vendors and service providers. 7. Dispute Resolution 

○ Participate in resolving conflicts or disputes between members and the Association in a fair and impartial manner. 

Certification 

Submitting my nomination certifies that I am the owner of record within the Lafayette Pointe Homeowners Association, meet all director qualifications in the governing documents and applicable law, and am willing to serve a two (2) year term, if elected. 

Deadline for board nominations to be Received by Election Inspector

Oct. 24, 2025

Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. PT on 10/24/25 to be included in the election.

Homeowners may nominate themselves and/or other qualified homeowners. There is no limit to the number of nominations that may be made.
