Greenhills HOA
2026 Proposed Board Recall

Upcoming election for proposal to recall Board of Directors

The Greenhills HOA board has contracted with and appointed the HOA Election Team, LLC as your certified Inspector of Elections. In that capacity, and in compliance with state law, we will be managing the nomination and balloting process for an upcoming recall election of the entire Board of Directors.

The ballot will present two separate questions. The first question will ask whether to remove all five members of the current Board of Directors. The second question will ask members to vote for replacement candidates. Votes cast on the second question will only be counted if the recall is approved on the first question.

The proposal to recall the entire board will include the following board members (listed in alphabetic order): John C. Campbell, Joe Flores, Cheryl Salter, Dana Troost, and Stephanie Vigil.  If the recall is not approved, current directors will serve out their respective terms. If the recall passes, the five (5) nominees receiving the most votes will be elected and seated into the existing board seats. To preserve the Association’s staggered election cycle, the two highest vote-getters will be seated in positions with terms expiring in mid-October 2027, and the remaining three successful candidates will be seated in positions with terms expiring in mid-October 2026. The deadline for board nominations was March 13 and nine nominations have been received for the following homeowners:

  • Joe Flores
  • Steven Lawrence
  • Dana Troost
  • John C Campbell
  • Stephanie Vigil
  • Cheryl Salter
  • Baldish Singh Hundal
  • Diane Pookie Mansker
  • Todor Tabakov

At the close of this deadline, ballots will be mailed to all homeowners, with a deadline to return ballots to the address above by May 28.

The HOA will be holding a board meeting to observe the ballot opening and count at 6 p.m. on May 29 via ZOOM. A vote quorum of 227 ballots is required for this meeting. If quorum is not achieved, the board may reschedule the meeting no less than five (5) days nor more than thirty (30) days from the original meeting date. The quorum for any adjourned meeting shall be fifteen percent (15%) of the total number of votes of HOA membership.
