Board of Directors Election for 2025
The Capitola Vista Board of Directors has contracted with and appointed the HOA Election Team LLC as your certified Inspector of Elections. In that capacity, and in compliance with state law, we will be managing the nomination and election process for future terms on your HOA’s board of directors.
The Board is seeking volunteers to fill three (3) positions on the Board of Directors. As specified in your HOA governing documents, Board terms are for one (1) year.
Ballots have been mailed to all homeowners, with the following nominees as candidates for the open board seats:
- Russell Simpkins; Unit 6
- April Watson; Unit 2
The deadline to return completed ballots to the election inspector (named below) is July 21, 2025

The HOA will be holding a board meeting to observe the ballot opening on July 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Anderson & Company, 4510 Capitola Rd, Capitola, CA.
