Board of Directors Election for 2025

The Capitola Vista Board of Directors has contracted with and appointed the HOA Election Team LLC as your certified Inspector of Elections. In that capacity, and in compliance with state law, we will be managing the nomination and election process for future terms on your HOA’s board of directors.

The Board is seeking volunteers to fill three (3) positions on the Board of Directors. As specified in your HOA governing documents, Board terms are for one (1) year.

The deadline for board nominations was May 10 and two nominations have been received for the following homeowners (listed in alphabetic order):

  • Russell Simpkins; Unit 6
  • April Watson; Unit 2

Anyone with questions regarding the nominees or the nomination process can submit them to the election inspector at the address or email below. The deadline for queries is June 17, 2025

At the close of this deadline, ballots will be mailed to all homeowners, with a deadline to return ballots to the address above by July 18, 2025.
The HOA will be holding a board meeting to observe the ballot opening on July 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Anderson & Company, 4510 Capitola Rd, Capitola, CA.
